How to install the Capital One Balance Checker extension

Click on the download link to the right which will bring you to the main extension download page. When you click to download the extension, you should see the following messge:

Click the "Allow" button, and the following should appear:

Click on the "Install Now", and you should eventually see the following screen:

Click the "Restart Firefox" button, which will complete the installation. When Firefox reloads, you will see a confirmation screen that shows where the extension is installed:

Close the window, and in the bar at the bottom of the browser, you should see the following addition:

Bring your mouse into the region of this new window, and right click your mouse (control-click on Mac), which should load a popup menu:

Select the "Options" menu item, which should bring up the following window:

Enter your Capital One user name and password, and you should be ready to go. With a valid username and password, you should see the following appear in the bottom of the browser:


current balance


This display will minimize after a couple of seconds, but a summary of your balance information can be seen if you move your mouse over the small credit card icon:
